About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operational Excellence Coordinator to join our team at Novo Nordisk. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a critical role in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in logistics, leading projects to enhance efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction, and optimize operational costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and drive initiatives for logistics optimization, including process revisions, developing new suppliers, and evaluating opportunities to optimize the distribution model with logistics operators.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate operational risks and address immediate operational challenges with a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Lead continuous improvement projects in logistics to enhance efficiency, quality, and reduce costs related to transportation and warehousing, while establishing operational performance KPIs.
- Collaborate to ensure operational effectiveness, prioritizing safety, meeting deadlines, and maintaining service quality.
- Enable the execution of the regional logistics operational excellence strategy for the Brazilian affiliate.
- Actively participate in sustainability projects and contribute insights in management meetings to enhance warehouse and transportation operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Advanced English proficiency and Portuguese.
- Experience in warehouse and logistics operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or cold chain sector.
- Experience in coordinating operations with logistics operators.
