This position plays a crucial role in ensuring our organization’s compliance with local laws and regulations. The Tax Compliance Manager will be responsible for producing legal/fiscal accounts, ensuring they meet GAAP/legal requirements, and preparing timely submissions to relevant tax authorities.
Key Responsibilities- Produce legal/fiscal accounts to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Ensure legal accounts meet GAAP/legal requirements and standards.
- Prepare and submit all tax returns/computations to the relevant tax authorities in a timely manner.
- Monitor statutory audits of local legal entities.
- Ensure timely payment of all taxes.
- Supervise and train Tax Accountants functionally.
- Handle queries from local tax authorities.
- Manage tax audits.
- Compute and book corporate tax provisions.
To excel in this role, you will require strong technical skills in Direct and Indirect Taxes, as well as fluency in English. Spanish is desirable, and experience in big fours and/or O&I industry is preferable. Soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, and proactivity are also essential.
