This role involves managing tax operations and ensuring compliance in Brazil and LATAM. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with external consultants, proactively managing tax processes, monitoring legislation, and supporting fiscal integrity while minimizing risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Support tax and fiscal management in Brazil, coordinating with outsourced tax consultants.">
  • Review invoices to ensure accurate accounting for tax withholding and compliance with fiscal regulations.">
  • Reconcile accounting and tax records (tax calculations performed by external providers).">
  • Monitor the calculation of direct and indirect taxes.">
  • Track and analyze tax ancillary obligations, with the support of external consultants.">
  • Oversee and reconcile the calculation of social contributions (PIS and COFINS) and ISS (service tax).">
  • Perform tax consultations through municipal websites, SEFAZ, and the Federal Revenue Service portal.">
  • Assist in preparing and presenting information requested by tax authorities, in coordination with tax advisors.">
  • Monitor tax legislation and update internal procedures as needed.">
  • Act as the main point of contact for tax-related matters in the LATAM region, supported by local consulting firms.">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.">
  • +5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on tax accounting activities.">
  • Advanced English language skills.">
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.">
  • Strong soft skills, including good interpersonal communication skills, multitasking ability, hands-on attitude, attention to detail, high level of commitment and accountability, strong organizational skills, teamwork and collaboration, adaptability, and flexibility.">
