Retail Solutions Architect Specialist

Location Preference: Candidates residing in Porto Alegre and its vicinity are preferred. Those from other regions should be open to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end solution from a functional standpoint;
  • Ensure solution consistency and alignment with the overarching Enterprise Architecture;
  • Collaborate with relevant project teams to provide insights on solutions and procedures that address future business requirements;
  • Evaluate the necessity for bespoke development within the applicable product range;
  • Assist Business and the System Integrator in providing suitable options and recommended approaches when Design Authority input is needed;
  • Prepare the business team for decision-making regarding configuration, implementation, and process modifications;
  • Analyze scenarios based on best practices from similar large-scale projects to minimize customizations within the product suite;
  • Advise the project team on transition planning, considering impacts on product configuration, process design, integration, and change management from the current to future state;
  • Contribute to the formulation of a comprehensive implementation strategy.

Required Experience:

  • Extensive experience with the latest Oracle Retail versions, preferably on any cloud platform.
  • 8+ years of expertise with Oracle Retail Merchandising modules (RMS, RPM, ReSA, ReIM).
  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Retail Solution Architect.
  • Functional and technical proficiency in one or more of the following Merchandising modules: RMS, RPM, ReSA, ReIM.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into solution designs.
  • Preferred experience working within a large systems integrator.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop trusted relationships, collaborate effectively, and share knowledge.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated skills in time management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Fluency in English.
  • Exceptional verbal presentation and written communication skills.
  • Capability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system implementations.
  • Strong consulting capabilities.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in response to changes.
