The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing revenue recognition processes from contract inception through general ledger reconciliation for assigned client portfolios. This role encompasses not only revenue accounting but also financial analysis and compliance with GAAP ASC 606 and IFRS 15 and corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Close Requirements: Perform activities to meet business close requirements.
  • Contract Approval Process: Understand, improve and manage the contract approval process from proposal through signature.
  • Monthly Closing Tasks: Perform month-end closing tasks, journal entries and reconciliations for assigned clients.
  • Reporting Requirements: Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting requirements including variance analysis.
  • Support Audit Processes: Support the external and internal audit process.
  • Deferred Cost Analysis: Prepare and maintain deferred cost analysis.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in public accounting combined with industry experience preferred.
  • Experience working together with sales finance & operational teams to forecast financial results and revenue recognition treatment.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 606) and IFRS (IFRS 15) revenue recognition rules preferred.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Availability to work from office on hybrid mode (Sao Paulo or Campinas offices).
