Job Description
About Your Role
The Operations Manager will lead the manufacturing environment to meet operations, quality, and cost objectives. This role will oversee day-to-day operations, report on key performance indicators, and determine requirements for equipment, materials, and manpower resources.
Your Responsibilities
- People Management
- Train and develop staff to achieve annual goals
- Monitor and evaluate team members, providing training where needed
- Attract, retain, and develop high-potential talent
- Model and promote the Corporation's Code of Business Ethics and Values
- Act as a team role model and change-agent
- Operations
- Drive operational results and execute operations improvement plans
- Set operations improvement goals, ensure priorities and accountabilities are clear
- Focus on improving performance through ELS efforts, supported by the Platform team
- Oversee the practice of all health and safety procedures
- Enable manufacturing team members to meet site goals and objectives
- Participate in establishing sites' annual operating plans
- Ensure tracking and use of key performance indicators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with 5+ years of operations/manufacturing experience and 3+ years of team management experience. A bachelor's degree or above in engineering, industrial management, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage, coach, and develop a diverse team.
