Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Engineer to join our team at TÜV SÜD AG. As a Senior Field Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting property loss control surveys, evaluating exposures, and developing recommendations based on NFPA Standards and other applicable guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate exposures and develop recommendations
  • Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems
  • Report and evaluate building construction, occupancy, special, and natural hazards
  • Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss
  • Provide training and peer review for other consultants
  • Services provided to clients include training, manual, and program development, code or regulatory interpretation
  • May prepare and present proposals, develop service instructions, solicit client feedback, and prepare stewardship reports

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of consulting experience in fire and property loss control
  • Experience in servicing major accounts
  • Recognized technical expertise
  • Ability to manage your own workload
  • Professional conduct and excellent written/verbal communication skills
