Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Quantitative Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced statistical models to improve demand forecasting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions.
  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced statistical models using Python and SQL.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
  • Communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Relevant working experience in an analytical role involving data extraction, analysis, and statistical modeling.
  • Advanced skills in statistical/programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Hadoop/Hive, Scala).
  • Solid understanding of time-series forecasting techniques.
  • Good hands-on skills in both feature engineering and hyperparameter optimization.
  • Able to write clean and tested code that can be maintained by other software engineers.
  • Able to clearly summarize and communicate data analysis assumptions and results.
  • Able to craft effective data pipelines to transform your analyses from offline to production systems.
  • Self-motivated and a proactive problem solver who can work independently and in teams.
  • Proficiency in English.
