We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an automation specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated test scripts to validate software functionality.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using various testing frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies.
- Identify, document, and track bugs to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct exploratory testing while leveraging automated test results to inform future testing efforts.
- Perform thorough regression testing to verify bug fixes.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and processes to enhance automation capabilities.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams to improve overall quality.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation testing.
- Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks and tools, including Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Familiarity with both white box and black box testing methodologies to ensure comprehensive testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes to deliver high-quality results.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
