Job Title

Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Logistics and Supply Chain Expertise is required to ensure price, capacity, and service levels align with business commitments and sourcing strategies. A wide range of sourcing tools will be applied including negotiation, e-procurement, stakeholder engagement, auctions, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase logistics services by applying strategic sourcing strategies, ensuring alignment with business needs and opportunities.
  • Implement supply base strategy, assess and develop suppliers to meet business requirements.
  • Manage risk through robust contracts and monitor financial and service KPIs, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Establish relationships with finance and supply chain senior managers to meet business needs and facilitate challenge.
  • Engage stakeholders, working with internal customers to meet business objectives.
  • Comply with policies, systems, and controls.
  • Provide market and financial insights to the sourcing process, participating in external forums.
  • Manage commercial, financial, and ethical requirements, collaborating with Strategic Operations Managers for Logistics.
  • Use appropriate contracts to cover risks and relevant services.
  • Maintain and update relevant KPIs, such as savings and payment terms.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews for top suppliers.
  • Identify and manage supplier collaboration initiatives.
What We are Looking For
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • Fluent English language skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience in procurement and/or logistics required.
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding and anticipating macro-economic changes.
  • Results-oriented, comfortable setting and delivering against bold targets.
  • Good business acumen and communication skills.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills.
