Your Role at Hostinger:

You'll lead a team of system administrators, focusing on safeguarding your team's health, hiring top talent, and putting them in the best position to succeed. You'll own product commitments and continually look to improve productivity, collaborating closely with international teams.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Technical expertise in enterprise-level Linux environments and system problem-solving;
  • Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams for at least a year;
  • Understanding of on-premises infrastructure and cloud-based systems;
  • Fluent English skills (C1-C2 level);
  • A passion for constant learning, especially in Linux, IT, engineering, and people development.

Your Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Ensure that our Web Hosting Monitoring team remains prepared and efficient;
  • Develop long-term engineering solutions for Web Hosting services;
  • Lead team members through onboarding, leadership, supervision, and day-to-day tasks;
  • Facilitate technical decision-making within the team; when necessary, make final decisions;
  • Analyze system performance, solve technical issues, and optimize workflows;
  • Promote team efficiency by setting KPIs and finding ways to improve;
  • Automate deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support for systems and services;
  • Identify client-side service problems and advise colleagues on complex cases;
  • Use tools like Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Ansible, and others to monitor and optimize service performance;
  • Maintain uptime of core services;
  • Verify retention strategies and downtime procedures are followed.
