Designing Scalable Data Solutions

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Data Platform Engineer.

This role requires designing and implementing scalable data pipeline architectures in collaboration with our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in supporting data engineering teams, emphasizing data pipeline enhancement and optimization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing scalable data pipeline architectures
  • Continuously optimizing data pipeline efficiency to reduce operational costs and minimize issues and failures
  • Monitoring performance and reliability of data pipelines, enhancing reliability through data quality, analysis, and testing
  • Building and managing automated alerting systems for data pipeline issues
  • Automating repetitive tasks in data processing and management

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in supporting data engineering teams, emphasizing data pipeline enhancement and optimization
  • Advanced/Fluent English communication and documentation skills
  • Proficient in cloud computing - GCP
  • Solid proficiency with Python in terms of data processing
  • Experience with cloud data-related services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, or correlated services from other providers
