Job Title: Director of Finance

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations and matters related to the Finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage key relationships with division heads and senior managers to provide financial support and understanding of short and long-term financial plans.
  • Monitor budgetary and key performance indicator movements, ensuring the organization's financial health and stability.
  • Liaise with company auditors and regulators to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws.
  • Responsible for all financial and accounting functions of the organization, including financial reporting, analysis, and presentation.
  • Lead in the development and implementation of benchmarking techniques to enhance revenues while improving productivity and cost efficiencies.
  • Promote and drive the GOP Theoretical Flow Through concept at the hotel, ensuring maximum revenue potential.
  • Manage the development of accounting admissions, credit/collections, and internal control policies, ensuring the organization's financial integrity.
  • Ensure all statutory compliances, permissions, and licenses are in place and renewed in time.
  • Supervise the functioning of the Procurement department, ensuring efficient and effective procurement processes.
Requirements:
  • Accounting designation, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive work-related experience in multiple areas of accounting/finance.
  • Demonstrated experience with accounting systems or similar financial software for financial reporting, analysis, and presentation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting processes and regulations, along with GAAP regulations and procedures.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Windows applications and relevant computer applications.
  • Highly responsible and reliable with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
Accomplishments:
  • Pre-opening experience is preferred.
