About the Team:

The SAP Services Sales Team is responsible for delivering innovative solutions that assist customers in adopting the latest SAP technologies. As a Services Sales Intern, your role will involve supporting the team in identifying opportunities and generating a high-quality pipeline for Services Sales Executives by:

  • Implementing proactive demand generation strategies to acquire new contacts and follow up on incoming leads, nurturing them into viable business opportunities.
  • Utilizing modern sales techniques such as digital prospecting, video communication, and social selling in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Driving customer interest, converting it into opportunities, and facilitating the transition to sales representatives for closure.
  • Coordinating joint sales campaigns with sales executives and partners, enhancing campaign concepts, and improving customer selection based on current market data.
  • Developing expertise in specific industries and/or products.

Additionally, you will assist in the commercial processes to advance and close service opportunities. Our Services Sales Interns are customer-centric with strong business insight. They quickly grasp business needs and translate challenges into solutions. This role requires strategic thinking, initiative, and a deep understanding of leveraging social and web media to influence business leaders and become trusted advisors. You will collaborate closely with experienced professionals, laying a solid foundation for your personal and professional growth.

Your Responsibilities:

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern – Services Sales

In this role, you will:

  • Generate and qualify leads utilizing social selling and digital communication tools.
  • Regularly assess the pipeline and progress of leads, assisting the sales team in maintaining pipeline quality.
  • Support opportunity development and nurturing efforts.
  • Follow up on stagnant opportunities to reinvigorate them into active sales cycles, planning activities in close coordination with sales executives for optimal opportunity acceleration.
  • Perform data entry in CRM systems and assist in sales activities to prepare proposals for customers.
  • Support demand generation and marketing events.
