Job Summary:
A senior legal professional will work closely with internal and external counsel on a wide range of legal matters to support business growth, network development, operation, and compliance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal guidance for business expansion, network establishment, operation, and compliance
- Conduct market research, analyze risks, and design contract structures to optimize business opportunities
- Develop, review, and refine various contracts and legal documents
- Drive the enhancement of standard form agreements and legal processes
- Oversee external lawyers in handling disputes, litigation, and arbitration cases
- Offer practical solutions for urgent issues
- Select high-quality external law firms and manage them effectively
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in law from a reputable law school in Brazil, with bar admission in Brazil
- Minimum 3 years of experience in leading law firms or multinational environments, preferably with Chinese companies
- Experience in international logistics, international freight forwarding, and/or cross-border e-commerce business
- Ability to function independently with moderate supervision and know when to involve global teams or external experts
- Strong ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and manage time effectively
- Excellent speaking, writing, and negotiating skills in English, Portuguese, and Mandarin Chinese (optional)
- Proactive and team player with adaptability to changes
