Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning professional to join our team and help optimize the delivery of chemicals to our offshore business in Latin America.
This role will involve managing master data and system parameters to support sending accurate planning signals to create short and mid-term Supply Plans and execution that supports service and inventory metrics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the continuous improvement of our supply planning network utilizing planning tools like Blue Yonder and SAP.
Key Responsibilities- Convert demand plans into supply plans through Blue Yonder for production and replenishment execution.
- Identify and resolve lead time issues with key stakeholders including Demand Planning, SBUs, and PLMs.
- Execute material replenishment in SAP MRP module, including internal movements, 3rd party movements, and production.
- Update the delivery plan from internal locations and external locations based on feedback for confirmed deliveries.
- Manage issues associated with P.O from Vendors with Procurement Team.
- Collaborate with Logistics, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to ensure delivery to customers on time.
- Develop stocking strategies to support inventory management, customer service, and implement corrective action when imbalances occur.
- Regularly monitor and address inactive, slow-moving, and excess inventory.
- Bachelor's Degree in operations, supply chain management, logistics, or business.
- Minimum 5 years of applicable Supply Chain Planning experience, preferably inventory management or master planning with global operations.
- High level of proficiency with common ERP systems, especially Blue Yonder ESP and SAP (Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP)).
- Proficient in English and Spanish.
