Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Planner to join our team. This key role is responsible for optimizing the delivery of chemicals to our offshore business in Latin America, collaborating with stakeholders across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Converts demand plans into supply plans through Blue Yonder for production and replenishment execution, ensuring network efficiency and cost management.
  • Identifies and resolves lead time issues with key stakeholders, including Demand Planning, SBUs, and PLMs.
  • Executes material replenishment in SAP MRP module, managing internal movements, 3rd party movements, and production.
  • Updates the delivery plan from internal locations and external locations based on feedback for confirmed deliveries.
  • Manages issues associated with P.O from Vendors with Procurement Team.
  • Collaborates with Logistics, Manufacturing, and Customer Service to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Develops stocking strategies to support inventory management, customer service, and implements corrective action when imbalances occur.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in operations, supply chain management, logistics, or business.
  • Minimum 5 years of applicable Supply Chain Planning experience, preferably inventory management or master planning with global operations.
  • High level of proficiency with common ERP systems, especially Blue Yonder ESP and SAP (Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP)).
  • Proficient in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High level proficiency with MS Office, primarily Excel.
  • APICS Certification.
  • A track record of successfully delivering to Key Performance Indicators and business objectives.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships within a team environment.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize the delivery of chemicals to our offshore business in Latin America. The ideal candidate will have a high level of proficiency with common ERP systems, especially Blue Yonder ESP and SAP (Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP)). Proficiency in English and Spanish is also required.
