Position Overview
As a Risk Engineering Specialist at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in managing property risk engineering for a designated portfolio of clients. Your expertise will be essential in collaborating with clients and brokers to ensure optimal risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the technical authority on property risk engineering for your assigned accounts, providing tailored support to Underwriters and Customer and Distribution Managers.
- Focus primarily on the Brazilian market, while also engaging with clients from other regions as needed.
- Serve as the main Account Engineer for various clients, conducting thorough assessments and developing expert opinions based on client interactions and third-party data.
- Collaborate with clients and brokers to create a customized risk engineering service plan that aligns with each client's objectives for improving risk quality.
- Utilize advanced risk assessment tools and benchmarking resources to deliver high-quality service.
Team Dynamics
As a member of the Latin American Risk Engineering Services (RES) Team, you will contribute significantly to our operations in Brazil while being integrated into our global RES community. This role offers opportunities for specialization in core industries and participation in various training programs and innovative projects. Our flexible structure promotes job diversity and professional growth.
Candidate Profile
We seek a detail-oriented engineer with strong communication skills, capable of effective teamwork. The ideal candidate will possess:
- An engineering degree;
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written);
- Over 5 years of experience in property loss prevention;
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Digital literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and data analytics tools;
- A business-oriented mindset with adaptability and self-management skills;
- Willingness to travel within Brazil;
- A valid Brazilian driver's license.
