Job Overview:

As a senior clinical team leader, you will oversee the daily activities of a group of clinical staff working in support of clinical studies. Your key objective will be to ensure that projects are adequately resourced and employees are trained and meeting project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for managing staff in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations, including planning, assigning, directing work, assessing performance, guiding professional development, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.
  • Participate in the selection process for hiring new employees by conducting candidate reviews and participating in interviewing processes. Ensure that new employees are properly onboarded and receive comprehensive training.
  • Ensure that staff members have access to the necessary materials, systems, and training to perform their job responsibilities effectively. Provide oversight for the execution of the training plan, SOP review, and training experiences as required.
  • Collaborate with other teams and functional leadership to allocate resources to clinical research projects by assigning staff to clinical studies based on their experience and training.
  • Monitor and manage the quality of assigned staff's clinical work through regular reviews and evaluations of work products.
  • Identify potential quality risks and issues and develop corrective action plans to prevent or address deficiencies in staff performance.
  • Regularly review and report on staff performance against defined workload and quality metrics as outlined by clinical operations management.

As a senior clinical team leader, you will play a critical role in achieving exemplary customer service and collaborating with other clinical teams to manage project-related challenges.
