Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Ensure alignment with global objectives and foster seamless integration with global teams by leading the transformation of processes within Powertrain & Circular operations, managing complexity with agility and foresight.
- Quality Strategy: Own international standards, fostering cross-functional collaboration to enhance both operational efficiency and strategic alignment. Drive the long-term quality strategy, VPS (WCM), and Environment, ensuring effective management and alignment of global interfaces with local strategy.
- Process Oversight: Oversee and ensure the implementation of quality standards and processes across Powertrain and Circular operations, maintaining alignment with global requirements.
- Escalated Issues: Provide oversight and guidance on escalated quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and long-term technical solutions. Where possible, offer immediate technical solutions or containment actions.
- Communication: Serve as the key interface between internal teams (Engineering, Purchasing, etc.) and external stakeholders (dealers, customers, suppliers), ensuring prompt communication and resolution of quality concerns.
- Data Analytics: Leverage data analytics to identify trends and resolve quality issues efficiently.
- Team Support: Support teams by utilizing diagnostic tools and databases to drive quality improvements and customer satisfaction.
- Culture of Improvement: Capitalize on lessons learned from past quality issues, sharing insights and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Technical Background: Solid technical background, with a university degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required for effective collaboration with global teams. Additional languages are a plus.
- Quality Expertise: Proven expertise in Quality Operations and Lean Manufacturing, with a strong track record in managing quality standards and processes in complex environments.
- Customer Orientation: Customer-oriented mindset, ensuring that all quality initiatives are aligned with customer expectations and market demands.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Experience with data analysis tools and diagnostic systems is a plus.
- Leadership Abilities: Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and lead teams in navigating multifaceted challenges, providing clear direction and fostering innovation.
- Results Delivery: Strong commitment to delivering results and driving continuous improvement in all quality-related processes.
- Communication Skills: Active listening and the ability to make well-rounded judgments, considering technical, commercial, and customer perspectives.
