As a seasoned engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of scalable software solutions that align with our business objectives.

  • You will spearhead the development and optimization of our EHR platform using PHP/Laravel, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Design and implement database schemas that effectively represent and support business processes.
  • Develop and maintain APIs for internal and external use, facilitating seamless integration with other systems and third-party services.
  • Ensure the platform's compliance with industry standards by implementing robust security measures and data protection protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices in backend development, code review, and team collaboration.
  • Stay abreast of new technology trends and evaluate their application to continually innovate and enhance the platform.
  • Participate in the agile development process, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Collaborate with the design team to refine the user interface and experience, implementing responsive and intuitive front-end functionalities.

Competencies/Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in PHP/Laravel and MySQL.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining scalable web applications.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to tackle complex problems, think analytically, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: A strong focus on code quality, adherence to design specifications, and a commitment to creating a user-friendly, secure, and efficient platform.
