Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Operations Intern. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of business operations, including engineering review, technical problem solving, and research and development.

You will work closely with a designated advisor to develop skills and knowledge in ABS's core business functions, including surveys, inspections, and reports. You will also assist in administrative work related to operations activities, provide technical advice, and collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals.

This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in engineering to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting and contribute to the success of our organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD degree in one of the following engineering disciplines: Civil Structures, Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, Ocean/Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or similar
  • Basic engineering knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Power BI, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint) is preferred
  • English is required; advanced English is preferred

Additional Information

The internship is available for 6 hours per day during working days for a minimum of 1 year and preferably 2 years. The ideal candidate will be available to commit to the entire duration of the internship.
