Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a skilled AI Engineer who is enthusiastic about transforming AI research into practical, impactful solutions for our esteemed clients. In this role, you will play a key part in implementing and integrating generative AI models to improve digital offerings, ensuring that AI is both accessible and beneficial in real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize your expertise in software engineering and AI technologies to create AI solutions that effectively tackle business challenges.
  • Collaborate with Data Science experts specializing in machine learning and statistical analysis to solve intricate technical issues, applying the latest AI methodologies.
  • Take responsibility for the deployment and enhancement of applied AI components, ensuring they fulfill project requirements with a high degree of complexity and scalability.
  • Engage with generative AI models, including large language models, to devise prompts and solutions tailored to distinct use cases.
  • Design and implement AI solutions while adhering to industry standards, including moderation, security, and compliance protocols.
  • Spearhead the design, measurement, and assessment of AI model outputs, creating both standard and custom metrics to align with business goals.
  • Convert AI research into production-ready features, delivering robust and scalable AI components that integrate smoothly with larger systems.
  • Lead the selection and application of suitable evaluation metrics, ensuring that AI solutions are reliable, unbiased, and meet all performance criteria.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in applied AI, with a strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, large language models, and statistical analysis.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the trade-offs among various generative AI models, with the ability to select the most appropriate model for specific applications.
  • Experience with data embeddings and vector databases, leveraging this knowledge to optimize data ingestion processes.
  • Background in building and testing major server-side platforms (such as TypeScript/Express, Java/Spring, Python/Django, C#/.NET, Ruby/Rails, etc.) for API development and orchestration.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as AWS CodeDeploy, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience deploying software on leading cloud platforms and utilizing AI tools like AWS Bedrock and Azure AI Services.
  • Experience with performance optimization and observability tools.
  • Proficient in conducting experiment tracking and implementing complex AI integrations with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to articulate complex AI solutions and concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Skilled in crafting and modifying prompts for advanced AI systems to meet varied project needs.
  • Familiarity with testing and evaluating AI systems using cutting-edge methods and best practices.
  • Strong collaboration skills, capable of working alongside Data Science specialists to leverage their expertise in AI model development and fine-tuning for delivering sophisticated AI solutions.
