Job Overview

The IoT Solutions Architecture Manager is a critical role that leads a regionally-focused team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services activities. This position requires an individual with extensive embedded Linux experience, proficiency in coding and scripting languages such as Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust, and excellent interpersonal skills.

This leader will solve customer problems by promoting Canonical's technologies and being a trusted advisor. They will also work remotely in a single major time zone, coach, mentor, and offer career development feedback, identify and measure team health indicators, implement disciplined engineering processes, and represent their team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong academic track record, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and fluency in at least one programming language. You should be result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments, and an ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
