Commercial Contract Specialist

This role involves reviewing and creating commercial contracts for the business. The position will initially involve executing commercial contracts and advising stakeholders on contract terms and conditions that may impact their areas of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate agreements related to commercial transactions.
- Provide legal advice to management and business groups.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Global Capability Owners to understand business priorities.
- Mitigate risks associated with contracts, especially those on customer or internal forms.
- Law degree and license to practice law, with 5+ years of experience in commercial contracting.
- Extensive experience in commercial law, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Proficiency in drafting various contracts in English.
- Ability to identify and communicate legal risks to support business decision-making.
- Experience managing and supervising legal teams or paralegals.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities across geographies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze a standard agreement and provide summaries both written and verbally.
- Flexibility to adapt to change and lead through evolving business needs.
- Familiarity with multiple divisions is preferred.
