Job Summary:
A key role for an experienced attorney to review and create commercial contracts. Key responsibilities include reviewing and negotiating agreements related to commercial transactions, providing legal advice to management and business groups, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business priorities, and mitigating risks associated with contracts.
Main Responsibilities:- Review and negotiate agreements related to commercial transactions.
- Provide legal advice to management and business groups.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business priorities.
- Mitigate risks associated with contracts.
- Law degree and license to practice law, with 5+ years of experience in commercial contracting.
- Extensive experience in commercial law, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Proficiency in drafting various contracts in English.
- Ability to identify and communicate legal risks to support business decision-making.
- Experience managing and supervising legal teams or paralegals.
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities across geographies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze a standard agreement and provide summaries both written and verbally.
- Flexibility to adapt to change and lead through evolving business needs.
