We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Calling and Lead Generation Specialist for Commercial Real Estate to join our team. This role involves sourcing information on and engaging potential capital providers for commercial real estate debt and equity brokerage services.
The ideal candidate is organized, persistent, and adept at gathering and analyzing information online while confidently engaging prospects over the phone. This position offers the chance to develop expertise in real estate capital markets while making a direct impact on the growth of our organization.
Responsibilities- Implement deal-specific outreach strategies to gauge interest in active opportunities and nurture them toward further discussions.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified capital providers and our senior team, ensuring a smooth handoff for follow-up discussions.
- Conduct introductory calls with lenders and investors to capture high-level criteria, including preferred loan types, deal sizes, and geographic focus.
- Review lender websites, industry databases, and online resources to identify, update, and validate current lending programs and parameters.
- Review and update existing capital provider investment parameters in our CRM, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Work closely with senior team members to align outreach efforts with active deals and capital-raising initiatives.
- Prepare and share weekly progress updates on outreach activities, database updates, and key findings from conversations.
- 2+ years in research, business development, sales support, or a related role.
- Preferred: Experience in real estate, finance, or capital brokerage, particularly within the U.S. commercial real estate market.
- Fluent in English (C1 or higher), with strong verbal communication skills and confidence in making professional outreach calls.
- Comfortable managing a high volume of outreach calls each week.
- Skilled in gathering, synthesizing, and presenting information from databases, websites, and direct conversations.
- Skilled at leveraging online research tools to source and evaluate capital providers.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple outreach activities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems.
- Tech-savvy with experience using cold-emailing and calling tools, as well as best practices.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
