Strategic Materials Procurement Leader

A high-impact role is available for a seasoned Strategic Materials Procurement Leader. You will be responsible for spearheading direct and indirect material procurement, contract manufacturing and chemical tolling initiatives within the LATAM region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing of target materials and services for the LATAM region in alignment with global procurement strategies and best practices
  • Market analysis and development of sourcing strategies, request for proposals preparation and negotiation, contract implementation and supplier performance tracking
  • Establishment and maintenance of strategic partnerships with key suppliers
  • Identification and implementation of profit improvement opportunities to create sustained cost advantages
  • Development of a preferred supplier network and achievement of supplier consolidation
  • Creation of baseline costs and make vs. buy analysis modeling to drive data-driven decision making
  • Provision of forward-looking guidance on regional trends, threats, and opportunities for target categories
  • Risk mitigation and contingency planning
  • Collaboration and development of strong relationships with global and regional stakeholders
  • Communication of KPIs regarding PPV, OTIF, Working Capital and Cost Out

Additional responsibilities include oversight of regular supplier audits, management of intermittent supply issues, and support to ensure supplier performance and compliance.
