Lead Concept Artist Job Summary

This senior role involves working closely with art teams to develop concepts and assets that meet the needs of our projects. As a Lead Concept Artist, you will be responsible for providing front-line creative feedback, documenting pipelines, and ensuring that concept art is of the highest quality.


The ideal candidate will have a solid background in game studio pipelines, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with artists and other teams.


  • Provide creative direction and feedback to artists.
  • Document existing pipelines and collect or generate examples of art asset production.
  • Maintain consistency and technical game readiness of assets.
  • Communicate clearly with internal art staff and external teams.
  • Deliver concepts for projects and work alongside other Epic artists.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:


  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior/Lead Concept Artist in the games industry.
  • Experience working with intellectual properties.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a range of styles, creativity, and craftsmanship.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to estimate tasks and maintain schedules.
  • Understanding of other game art disciplines and their workflows.
