Career Overview:
As a Desktop Support Analyst at Cognizant, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients. This role involves working directly with teams to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring that all IT devices and systems are functioning properly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting Technical Issues: Identify and resolve technical problems affecting IT devices and mobility support/management.
- Installation and Configuration: Install and configure hardware and software components to ensure usability by end users.
- IT Asset Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to disposal, ensuring they meet security and compliance standards.
- Network and Connectivity: Ensure basic network connectivity (LAN), Wi-Fi access, Tandberg video, printer, and voice are available on site.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in Manufacturing/Lab IT Systems: Strong experience supporting overall manufacturing/lab IT systems and IT devices.
- Basic Troubleshooting Capabilities: Basic troubleshooting skills for network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points.
- Knowledge of GMP and GxP: Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good eXchange Practice (GxP).
- Intermediate English: Proficiency in intermediate-level English language.
