This role involves taking charge of leading the development of high-quality Android applications. You will work closely with colleagues to deliver successful projects.

  • Development: Create and maintain high-quality mobile software applications, adhering to best practices in mobile app development.
  • Optimization: Ensure that code is optimized for top performance and user experience.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures through unit and UI testing, leveraging tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Robolectric, Espresso, and UiAutomator.
  • Architecture: Collaborate with the team on architectural decisions, employing patterns such as MVP and MVVM.
  • Collaboration: Work with product and design teams to deliver successful projects.
  • Project Management: Oversee projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timely completion and achievement of objectives.

As a remote-first company, we believe hybrid work is the way forward and strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. This role requires 2 days a week in a client or our office. We offer various wellbeing programs to support a healthy work-life balance.

Requirements include:

  • Advanced English proficiency for both written and verbal communication.
  • Solid background in Android development with in-depth knowledge of the Android SDK, Java, and Kotlin.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and multi-threaded development.
  • Champion of testing and experienced with tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Robolectric, Espresso, and UiAutomator.
  • Solid understanding of architectural patterns like MVP and MVVM.
