
Freight Sales Representative

We are seeking a skilled Freight Sales Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with carriers, negotiating rates and contracts, and ensuring seamless shipment coordination.
About the JobThe ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the logistics industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
- Carrier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing carriers, serving as the primary point of contact for ongoing coordination and communication.
- Rate Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate rates, contracts, and terms with carriers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality service.
- Shipment Coordination: Coordinate the booking and dispatching of shipments, ensuring carrier capacity aligns with customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 1-2+ years of experience in the logistics domain, with a focus on the US market (required).
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency for effective communication with carriers and stakeholders (required).
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills for carrier sales and coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other software tools.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage both administrative and sales responsibilities.

Working ConditionsThis is a full-time position with a standard Monday-Friday schedule, 8 am - 5 pm PST. You will be working remotely and collaborating with team members via video conferencing and instant messaging platforms.
