Software Support Professional

As a key member of our global team, you will provide expert technical support to customers worldwide.

With a strong background in software development and troubleshooting, you will analyze complex issues and deliver timely resolutions.

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line support for software-related queries from regional and international customers.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in custom applications and develop accurate solutions.
  • Utilize programming languages such as VB.NET, SQL, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC/PLC) to resolve incidents.
  • Establish strong relationships with customers through proactive and clear communication.
  • Manage support cases via phone, email, and ticketing systems while meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to investigate and resolve complex issues.
  • Document and maintain case information and support knowledge base for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical skills through training, hands-on work, and collaboration.
  • Identify and prioritize issues effectively.
Requirements:
  • Technical education or relevant experience in engineering, IT, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software support and/or development.
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a remote setup.
  • Experience with programming languages such as VB.NET, C#, or similar technologies.
  • Familiarity with SQL or similar database query languages.
  • Understanding of networking and server-client software structures.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across software, databases, and basic industrial environments.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts (morning and afternoon) and occasionally be on call during weekends.
  • Excellent English proficiency (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
