Senior Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team in Brazil. This is a unique opportunity to work on the development, integration and documentation of structural requirements for the Boeing 7 series Fleets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Works on development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design.
- Participates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
- Works on product design and verifies structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
- Works on development of test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- Works on documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
- Supports in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements. Develops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.
- Works under direction.
Requirements:
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Must have a degree in Engineering.
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
- Relevant experience with structural engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in structural analysis methods and tools (Hand-Calculation and Finite Element Analysis Method).
- Relevant experience in design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materials.
- Relevant experience in durability and damage tolerance analysis.
- Relevant experience in compliance demonstration for regulatory requirements.
- Relevant experience in Fleet Support and Repair's design and substantiation.
- Understanding industry best practices in airframe structure and loadpaths.

- Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
- This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil.
