About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Executing and monitoring projects in accordance with specific norms and regulations
  • Providing technical guidance to clients and suppliers
  • Reviewing projects and verifying processes, executing complex calculations, and selecting materials and tolerances
  • Ensuring adherence to client rules, norms, and deadlines
  • Emitting modification forms of medium complexity
  • Guiding designers in the execution of activities
  • Preparing descriptive documents based on assigned tasks and collaborating with the development of requested installations

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in product development for the automotive industry using NX/TCAE (basic) and PLM/Catia (desirable)
  • Knowledge of NX sections and proposals (desirable)
  • Experience working with surface design (desirable)
  • Desirable knowledge of plastic parts
  • A strong interest in developing a career in the automotive industry and technical design
  • Availability to work on-site

Education

A completed technical degree in a related field, such as mechanics, mechatronics, electronics, plastics, tooling, cutting, bending, and pressing, is desirable.

Language

Fluency in Portuguese is required, with English and Spanish being desirable.

Location

The role is based in Belo Horizonte, MG.
