We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Tax Specialist. This position involves working closely with our team to ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize our tax strategy.
Job Description- Assess and calculate direct taxes, including IRPJ and CSLL, as well as prepare supporting documents and reconcile current/deferred amounts;
- Monitor tax legislation and provide guidance on business operations and strategy;
- Collaborate with the business area and clients on direct tax matters, including training and project support, to help understand tax implications and potential risks and benefits;
- Analyze and manage accounting records that impact direct tax calculations (expenses, provisions, etc.);
- Prepare and analyze tax reports and other documents required for presentation to authorities;
- Participate in inspections, internal/external audits, and corporate tax activities;
Requirements for the role:
- Bachelor's degree or higher education;
- Specialization/MBA in areas related to taxation desirable;
- Fluent English language skills;
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
