Our team is comprised of dedicated healthcare professionals working together to deliver exceptional patient care. As a Surgical Support Professional, you will play a vital role in maintaining the sterile field and ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist surgeons during operations, handling instruments, supplies, and equipment with precision and attention to detail. You will also work closely with the operating room circulator to prepare the environment for each procedure, guaranteeing that all necessary materials are readily available.
- Maintain a safe and organized operating room environment, adhering to strict sterile techniques and protocols.
- Participate in pre-operative preparations, including gathering and preparing essential supplies, instruments, and equipment.
- Ensure seamless transitions between procedures by effectively managing case carts and surgical counts.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate and meet the needs of the surgeon during procedures.
We seek an individual with strong communication skills, knowledge of medical and surgical supplies, and proficiency in sterile techniques. Previous experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment is advantageous. If you possess a Technical School Diploma LPN Program and certification as an American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania, we encourage you to apply. A current LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania is mandatory.
