Professional Practice Business Partner Role Overview

This role is a key member of our organization's leadership team, playing a critical part in supporting our strategic objectives. The position serves as the interface between our Medical Staff and local leadership, providing creative solutions to keep departments efficient and compliant with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The primary point of contact between regional facilities and senior leadership of our Professional Practice Services department, delivering strategic level support and guidance through key initiatives.
  • Provides oversight and advisory responsibilities for regional functions of provider services, including credentialing, verification, privileging, and peer review processes.
  • Responsible for implementing our privileging guidelines, assessing eligibility criteria for providers requesting clinical privileges, and facilitating provider peer review in collaboration with enterprise peer review managers and coordinators.
  • Leads group sessions, provides direct assistance and leadership to each specialty area, and serves as the liaison and facilitator of Medical Staff governance responsibilities and clinic operations.
  • Accountable for developing programmatic planning and project coordination to achieve strategic goals of our professional practice initiatives pertaining to medical staff services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
  • Five years clinical experience, two years of experience in healthcare quality and/or administration.
