You will lead a strategic function in a dynamic financial environment, ensuring compliance and driving financial performance. Your leadership will have a significant impact on our customers, society, and future generations.

VFS Brazil is formed by 4 legal entities: Bank, Consorcio, Insurance Brokerage, and Rental. You will report directly to the VP Finance Latin America and be based in Curitiba, Brazil.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Oversee month-end and semi-annual close processes to maintain financial integrity.
  • Develop and implement financial control policies, systems, and processes to strengthen financial control and ensure compliance with local and international standards.
  • Manage and comply with local and international tax reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax authorities, and the Brazilian Central Bank to ensure successful reviews results and compliance.
  • Develop and execute the cash flow forecast of the companies.
  • Oversee the accounts payable and expenses control functions.
Requirements:
  • Certified Accountant (CRC active registration required).
  • Proven managerial experience, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing financial teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and interpret financial data across the organization.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple deliverables and competing priorities.
  • Experience collaborating with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ability to lead under pressure, maintaining a calm and solution-oriented approach to tight deadlines.
