Collection Professional Role

This position plays a key role in conducting in-depth financial and operational analysis to inform collections decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct rigorous analysis of financial and operational information to inform collections strategies.
  • Develop structured collection requests that align with business and customer requirements, adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate collection team decisions to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with risk and market guidelines.
  • Optimize portfolio value by examining new negotiation requests and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Foster a results-driven environment through continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of procedures to minimize risk and enhance collections quality.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the collections process.
Requirements:
  • University degree preferably in Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Accounting.
  • Proven experience in one or more areas: collections, credit, portfolio management, or credit/risk management.
  • Expertise in customer collection, negotiations, arguments, and financial calculations.
  • Knowledge of banking and credit practices, financial indexes analysis, and financial products.
  • Proficiency in accounts receivable, including bank remittances and returns, account reconciliations, negotiations, and financial calculations.
  • Strong vocabulary and argumentation skills for effective negotiations and focused results.
  • Advanced level in MS Office required, with expertise in Excel preferred.
