Job Title: Senior Linux Kernel DeveloperJob Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Kernel Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features, as well as maintaining existing codebases.

Our ideal candidate has significant experience with Linux kernel development, file systems, and module development. You should possess outstanding problem-solving capabilities and have hands-on development experience with Linux or UNIX internals.

The position involves working on a significant level of technical expertise, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Significant experience with Windows kernel development
  • Experience in MiniFilter Driver development using Legacy Model
  • Understanding of Windows File System Architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to perform kernel-level debugging (WinDbg)
  • Working knowledge of x86_64 instruction set
  • Knowledge of complex distributed systems
  • Demonstrated ability to debug complex issues in a distributed systems environment
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols in a cross-platform environment (SMB, NFS, RPC, UDP, TCP/IP)
  • Demonstrated ability to debug issues at the protocol level
  • Demonstrated ability to administer Windows machines in a networked environment
  • Significant experience programming in C

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of C++
  • Working knowledge of one or more scripting languages such as PERL, and Powershell
  • Experience solving complex performance problems in distributed systems
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux kernel development
