Financial Analyst Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled financial analyst to join our team, responsible for providing high-quality financial planning and analysis support.

About the Job

This role involves working closely with various departments to gather, provide, and consolidate financial commentary on forecast and actuals, as well as preparing monthly reports for key stakeholders. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, business acumen, and analytical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial partnering with operational departments
  • Gathering and consolidating financial commentary on forecast and actuals
  • Preparing monthly reports for Sites, Proforma, and SAP consolidations
  • Communicating detailed results of spend and collaborating with team members
  • Supporting special projects within the FP&A team
  • Providing financial and business analysis on project work

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Prior experience in Planning, Forecasting, and Reporting
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Hyperion Financial Management experience an asset
  • Working knowledge of various BI packages
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP
  • Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
