Job Title:

A facility management specialist is needed to lead the development and implementation of physical plant strategies.

About This Role:
  • Develop long- and short-term plans for the construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance of physical plants in collaboration with third-party service providers.
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers to ensure timely completion of renovations, repairs, and maintenance, and maintain excellent working order of facilities.
  • Represent the organization during major campus infrastructure projects.
  • Provide guidance and advice on the development of physical plant assets.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback as necessary on the progress of construction, renovations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Support the use of technology to enhance operations, improve campus infrastructure, and reduce energy costs.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and comply with applicable codes and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, with preference for Master's degree.
  • Five years' demonstrated experience leading small to large projects.
  • Proven record of leadership in facilities management with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Able to lead with decisive and consultative style, foster open communications, and build positive relationships.
  • Track record of overseeing complex construction of campus facilities.
  • Team player who fosters collaboration across the organization and has commitment to excellence.
