Job Title: Data Governance Strategist

This role involves driving a project-based transformation and ensuring the successful execution of our data governance strategy.

We will work with you to explore alternative opportunities within our organization as we approach the end of this role.

If no suitable alternative opportunity is available at that time, your employment will end.

You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and governance of our marketing data as a Data Governance Strategist in our dynamic Chief Data Office (CDO) team.

Your expertise will ensure that customer data and insights are effectively harnessed to drive strategic decisions, shaping the future of marketing and consumer engagement.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement a robust data governance strategy, ensuring data quality and governance while fostering a culture of data literacy.

Your contributions will support our marketing initiatives and empower our teams to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Seasoned Professional: 7+ years of experience in data analytics, insights, or AI within large organizations.
  • Data Domain Expertise: Proven experience with marketing and/or consumer data in a large enterprise setting.
  • Data Stewardship Experience: Recent roles in data stewardship, with a strong understanding of business data challenges.
  • Data Literacy: Solid grasp of data models, flows, and structures, ideally from hands-on experience.
  • Data Governance Expertise: Ability to develop and enforce data governance policies; familiarity with cataloging tools is a plus.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Skills: Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
