Procurement Specialist

This is a pivotal role within the organization, requiring an individual to source and procure high-quality materials and products that meet project specifications and timelines. Collaborative efforts with project managers, designers, and suppliers are essential to ensure alignment with company objectives.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate potential suppliers for FF&E products while negotiating pricing and terms to achieve optimal deals
  • Manage procurement activities from purchase order issuance to delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment of project requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
  • Collaborate with design and project management teams to ensure purchased goods meet required specifications
  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and product enhancements
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers to guarantee a reliable supply chain
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, specifically within FF&E for commercial projects
  • Proven experience in furniture manufacturing and understanding of the market
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English, with exceptional communication skills
  • Proficiency in Italian beneficial, although not required
