About the Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Professional to join our team at Encora Inc. as a key member of our Data Science team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining data applications and machine learning models, deploying modern data solutions that interact with Generative AI, and building APIs for delivering models and providing data access.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
  • Provide data-driven insights critical to customer business processes.
  • Produce artifacts that are utilized by various business areas within the company, either by staff or through applications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Economy, Physics, or related areas.
  • Desire to combine theory and abilities to solve problems pragmatically, using Machine Learning for solving real-life problems.
  • Desire to work with product managers and software engineers, translating requirements into design and models into production code.
  • Knowledge in probability and statistical modeling.
  • Hands-on experience in statistical analysis, visualization, and in Machine Learning modeling using Python.
  • Knowledge in SQL and relational databases.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with Jupyter notebooks, pandas, sklearn, and statsmodels.
  • Experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS, SNS).
  • Experience with developing Generative AI applications.
  • Experience with GitLab or similar version control systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies (CI/CD pipelines) for application deployment.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code for automating infrastructure (Cloudformation).
