Advanced Aircraft Propulsion System Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Lead to drive the development and implementation of structural designs for aircraft propulsion systems.
This position will be responsible for leading the design, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to establish system design. The successful candidate will have expertise in structural elements, actuation mechanisms, and 3-D Computer Aided Design tools.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining structural designs and component designs using 3-D CAD tools and other design methods.
- Leading performance, integration, and analysis of tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- Managing supplier development, test, and production activities and coordinating with suppliers to optimize design and achieve program goals.
Responsibilities:
- Drive innovation by developing new design/analysis processes and tools to improve effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the development effort.
- Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Must have a degree in Engineering.
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth experience validating or verifying structural models.
- In-depth experience with structural design principles for aircraft.
- In-depth experience with analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
