The role of the Associate Propulsion Structural Design Engineer is to work under the supervision of the Propulsion Structures Engineering Manager, based in our São José dos Campos office.
Key Responsibilities:- To assist in developing, integrating and documenting structural requirements to establish the system design.
- To create, maintain and modify basic structural and component designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools or other design methods, providing product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
- To conduct tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- To support supplier development, test and production activities and coordination with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
- To contribute to the investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
Essential Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Must have a degree in Engineering.
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in English.
