Job Title: KYC Senior Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled KYC Senior Analyst to join our team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. As a KYC Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our customer onboarding process and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Due Diligence: Perform thorough customer due diligence to initiate new customer relationships, including identifying ultimate beneficial owners and assessing customer risk.
  • Screening Activities: Conduct screening activities, such as PEP, negative news, sanctions, socio-environmental checks, and risk mitigation.
  • Information Standards: Ensure the highest standards of information, based on documentation, reports, forms, and sources of information from clients, their legal representatives, and final beneficiaries.
  • Report Generation: Produce reports with information on the steps taken, for submission to analysis and approval.
  • Technical Knowledge: Maintain solid technical knowledge, with direct or indirect impact on KYC, relating to AML and OFAC regulations, SG Group policies, and procedures.
  • Internal Controls: Maintain internal controls to establish an organized, clear, and reliable schedule with daily tasks, as well as follow the Department's control structure.
  • Communication: Forward questions to the area's manager, to respect the highest standards of ethics, quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in local, regional, and global forums for training, discussions of daily activities, delegation, prioritization, business support, and performance monitoring.
  • Interface with Other Teams: Interface with other internal teams, such as offshore KYC, Compliance, Credit, business areas, among others.
Requirements:
  • Fluent English: Fluent English level - strong communication skills (written and oral).
  • Microsoft Office Tools: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience: Solid experience (minimum of 3 years) in KYC due diligence for B2B clients, such as Fund Managers/Administrators, Assets, Funds, Banks, and Corporate.
  • Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge in identifying ultimate corporate beneficiaries (UBO).
  • ACAMS Certification: Differential: ACAMS certification.
