Job Description

As a seasoned policy expert, you will oversee Mastercard's relationships with government entities and key policymakers in Brazil. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategic plans that enhance these relationships and promote the company's growth in the sub-region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing policy-related strategic plans for key issues areas in the Brazil Division of LAC, considering the competitive environment, key customers, and global perspectives.
  • Interpreting and influencing the policy environment relating to key political, regulatory, economic developments in the financial services sector.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of Mastercard executives' outreach to policymakers, ensuring that external government relations are well-coordinated.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Extensive experience working in public policy, legislative, or government affairs positions in a corporate, association, or governmental context.
  • Good judgment, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to function as a team player.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Portuguese.
